White Fig Designs is a floral design studio owned and operated by Erin Hopkins. It specializes in intimate events, weddings, styling, custom made-to-order arrangements and living plants. Erin works closely with each of her clients to bring their individual idea, space, or event to life. As a studio, White Fig Designs is committed to using locally grown and seasonal materials.

White Fig was established in 2010 and thrives today as a studio and boutique. Erin describes her style as “wild garden.” She loves working with natural materials and is passionate about expression through visual creativity.

When I was young, my favorite subject/class in school was art. I think the seed started then. I always liked to express myself through fashion and drawing. Always searching for a way to start a business, I dabbled in jewelry design, doing metalwork and wax carving. When my children were young, I went into their school and taught art appreciation. I discovered flowers when my teenage son at the time wanted to go down to the LA Flower Market to get flowers for Valentine’s Day. I jumped into taking floral workshops to understand the mechanics of flower design. I took this info back with me and started developing my own design style…… I call it organic European garden-like. I worked out of my home for a few years until I found my studio I am in now in Old Town Newhall. Come visit me anytime!
